VILLAGE SPOTLIGHT Scarsdale Welcomes New TrusteesFollowing the March 18, 2026 Village election, Scarsdale residents have elected Tim Foley, Ron Schulhof and Scott Silberfein to the Board of Trustees, succeeding Trustees Jeremy Gans, Ken Mazer and Jeremy Wise who have completed their terms. The Village of Scarsdale welcomes Mr. Foley, Mr. Schulhof and Mr. Silberfein to the Board, recognizing the valuable experience and strong commitment they bring, and expresses gratitude to the outgoing Trustees for their lasting contributions to the community.

RECREATION SPOTLIGHT 15K/4-Mile Race is This Sunday, March 22Join us on Sunday, March 22 for either the 4-mile race at 9:15 a.m. or the 15K race at 9:30 a.m. Visit the race website and register online here. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome! Registration ($45 plus fees) ends March 22. Participants will set out from Scarsdale High School through Fox Meadow and Greenacres before returning to SHS to finish on the track. Virtual 15K and 4-mile races are also available for those who cannot or do not wish to participate in person.

VILLAGE SPOTLIGHT America 250/Scarsdale 325 Flag Design Contest Deadline TODAY! In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and the 325th anniversary of Scarsdale, the Village will be hosting a Flag Design Contest to mark the occasion. The winning design will be transformed into a physical flag that will be flown at Village Hall and other Village properties throughout 2026. Residents are encouraged to use their creativity and join us in commemorating these important anniversaries. VILLAGE SPOTLIGHT Reminder: Gas-Powered Leaf Blower in Effect Until September 30 This is a reminder to residents and their property-care contractors that gas-powered leaf blowers are not permitted for use from January 1 through September 30. From October 1 through December 31, gas-powered leaf blowers can be used Tuesday through Friday only, but not on federal holidays. Electric leaf blowers are permitted year-round. Click here for more.

RECREATION SPOTLIGHT K-8 Cheerleading Program Coming This SpringThe Scarsdale Recreation Department will hold a fun and engaging cheerleading program for children of all experience levels grades K-8 in April and May. Classes will be taught by current high school coaches, nationally-ranked college cheerleaders and New York State champion cheerleaders in game day and traditional cheer. The program will be held at Scarsdale Middle School Tuesdays April, 7, 14, 21 and 28, and May 5 and 12, OR Wednesdays April, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and May 6 and 13.
