This adult class will experiment with unique indoors and outdoors growing systems, emphazing vegetables, spices and native plants. Working between the greenhouse and common garden at the Nature Center you will gather useful data on indoors/outdoors growing environments, plant germination, root systems, plant nutrients, PH balance, transplanting, permaculture and wildlife browsing/feasting, companion planting and many other efforts.
You will have take-home plantings to introduce to your home garden or new new hydroponic system.
Dates (8 classes): Saturday, March 18th (9am-10am), Saturday, March 25th (11am-1230pm), Saturday, April 1st (9am-10am), Saturday, April 15th (9am-10am), Saturday, April 29th (11am- 1230pm), Saturday, May 6th (9am-10am), May 13th, May 27th (9am-10am).
